The Humane Society of Florida, Inc. was incorporated in 2004 and is not affiliated with any other Humane Society. Since our incorporation homes have been found for over 5,500 animals including dogs, cats, donkeys, horses and goats.
Our farm animals are housed on our 17 acre facility in Bushnell, Florida and most of our dogs and cats are in loving foster homes. We have a new kennel/ adoption center in Brooksville. This adoption center allows us to adopt animals 7 days a week.
It is our mission to rescue animals from euthanization and find them loving, forever homes. We believe that all animals deserve a change at a good healthy life no matter what their current situation is. We always make space for those that are the most needy as well as those that are more adoptable.
