The Humane Society of Florida currently houses 10 horses. Several of these are highly adoptable and rideable. A few are pets either due to age or injuries they had when they arrived. We would love to see all of them in homes of their own either as horses that you can enjoy riding, or older horses that you can truly love and have as a companion. There is a two step process to adopting a horse at HSF. First is our questionaire where you tell us exactly what you are looking for and a little about yourself and then the actual adoption application. Following approval on the application a home visit will be done to ensure that the right horse is the rght fit for your family.
